Absolutely darling! Wonderful for the mystery lover, especially for a dog lover~ a must for the FF Fitz & Floyd collector!
Porcelain Planter / Mug / cup shaped like a hound dog, with his little "plaid" detective cap. On one side he is holding a magnifying glass, a Map Book of London clutched in his arm. The opposite side has a golden key and a pocket watch. The cup handle looks like a pipe stem, the dog also has a collar, with the same "plaid" design as the hat.
Bottom is impressed "F 3 OX, (c) 1998, with an Omnibus sticker, and a transfer that states (c) OCI 1994 Div. of F.F. Sri Lanka.
This was in my booth at an antique mall and roughly handled. No crazing, cracks or breaks, it does have some teeny tiny paint chips including one at the bottom of the magnifying glass handle, one at the bottom of the key and another on the clock. Not serious but notable, does not detract from display, and still a really unique piece.
